  • Press & Sun Bulletin reports on the details of Mark Macon’s raise: “Macon is being paid at a rate of $75,675 per year, an $18,024 increase over his salary when he was an assistant, said BU’s acting athletics director James Norris. Macon’s new salary is retroactive to Oct. 15.”
  • Binghamton plays Marist on Sunday and it looks like they can not rebound: “So when his Red Foxes pulled down 10 fewer rebounds than visiting Boston University on Saturday, Marist’s head coach said it’s clear his team needs to work on cleaning up on the glass.–’The rebounding difference is just toughness,’ Martin said after the loss to the Terriers. ‘I’m not going to sugarcoat it: It’s just toughness. Rebounding is just effort.’–Through their first seven games, the Red Foxes (0-7) have been outrebounded 261-231. Marist has grabbed more boards than its opponent only once this season, when it had 44 rebounds to Rider’s 38 in the teams’ Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game 10 days ago.”
